About the House of Victory
We are a Prophetic Word and Faith Gathering based in the Heart of England, Wellingborough, the ministry is growing from strength to strength, with people of all ages and nationalities coming together as a true expression of praise and worship to our King, the Lord Jesus Christ, The Messiah, Yeshua Ha Mashiac (Hebrew).

People come to us with Questions like:

How can I kick depression without medicine?
How will I survive this heartbreak?
How can a person live without a partner?
Is it possible to overcome fear?
Why am I here, What's the meaning of life?
How will I get though the day?
Will I survive this sickness?
Is there life after death?
Will I go to Hell because I am divorced?
Will God really forgive my Sin?

So many Questions: The Answer: Jesus Christ!
Whatever your question may be, there is an answer in Jesus Christ. Why not come and join a genuine fellowship of loving, spirit filled believers who are gathering for the central purpose of seeing peoples lives changed and fulfilled through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Background
HOV originally launched in Wembley, as part of Grace International in London, but although the church grew rapidly, we were guided to re-form in Wellingborough on September 27th 2008, with a lunch meeting at Rock Street WACA complex. At this time we had a membership of seven people. Why did we come to Wellingborough? »Read the Prophetic Vision« given to Pastor Hugh.

A Historic Town
There are several famous wells located around the town of Wellingborough, Some of which are: Red Well, Hemming Well, Stan Well, Lady's Well, Whyte Well, Rising Sun Well), which appear on Wellingborough's coat of arms. The town has always been noted for its great number of wells and springs and many believe that spa waters possess health-giving properties. From 1600 the waters were to prove popular with the early Stuart nobility. Red Well in particular, was believed to aid fertility and Charles I, desperate for an heir, brought his young Queen, Henrietta Maria, to take the waters - four children followed in quick succession! Following the Royal patronage, the King vowed to make Wellingborough into a Royal Spa Town, but the Civil War intervened and Royal Wellingborough Spa was not to be.

A Prophetic Church
When we arrived in Wellingborough in 2005, an elected Town official prophesied that we had come to help to re-dig the famous wells of water which were of renown in years gone by. Spiritually speaking, we are striving to live up to those words, by re- digging the Wells of Salvation.

 

The Word of God.
At The House of Victory we adopt the unique position of a Prophetic Word and Faith gathering. We believe the scriptures to be the absolute final authority in our lives, and that the Word of God is filled with life giving power to effect every negative circumstance in our lives. We believe and teach the scriptures as we are led by the Holy Spirit and many are set free by the regular public meetings and Bible studies which we hold. Jesus said “the Words I speak unto you are spirit and life”, therefore, we teach and preach his message, firmly believing that whist we do so, his words are still prophetically declaring spiritual and living truths by the Word of God.
